What USCIS asks for
A document in another language needs a complete English translation and a statement from the translator that they are competent in both languages and that the translation is accurate (8 CFR 103.2(b)(3)). That statement is the certificate you see here.
Notarization is not part of that rule. USCIS also does not approve or keep a list of translators or translation companies.

Questions
Does USCIS require a notarized translation?
No. USCIS asks for a complete English translation and the translator's signed certification of competence and accuracy. Some other offices ask for notarization, and we can arrange it on request.
Are you a USCIS-approved translator?
USCIS does not approve or certify translators or translation companies, so nobody can honestly claim that. Our certificate contains the statements the USCIS rule asks for.
Which languages do you translate?
Portuguese, Spanish and French into English. Italian into English on request. If you need another direction, such as English into Portuguese, ask us before you order.
Do you make sworn translations for Brazil, Italy, France or Spain?
Not at this time. A certified translation for a US filing is different from a sworn translation made by a translator appointed in another country. If you need one, tell us and we will say before you order whether we can help.
Can I send photos from my phone?
Yes, if every edge, stamp and handwritten note is readable. Include the back of any document that has writing on it. We tell you before you pay if something needs a better scan.
How do you handle my files?
Passports and civil records are sensitive. Uploads travel over an encrypted connection, are used only to prepare your translation, and are deleted on a fixed schedule that we state at checkout.
Do you give immigration advice?
No. Attesta Translation translates documents. It is not a law firm and can't tell you which documents your case needs. Ask your attorney or accredited representative.
